Divine Healing is an endeavour, through prayer, counselling, the laying-on of hands, and anointing with oil, to bring to someone in need of wholeness the healing love of Jesus Christ.
Loneliness, past hurts, anxiety, stress, recovery from sickness, physical healing, broken relationship, your relationship with God, someone you are concerned about, temptation, guidance over a decision. You can receive prayer for any need in your life.
Sometimes God does a miracle instantaneously, but today people are often healed gradually over a period of time. Through prayer, we can expect to find peace, strength and healing, and at least an improvement in our condition.
Interdenominational Divine Healing Ministries was founded in 1993 by Br. David Jardine and Sr. Margaret McStay to pray for the healing of individuals and of our land. Prayer for healing is offered weekly at five different venues in Belfast as well as in a growing number of other locations throughout N. Ireland.
Prayer for our land has been organised since 30th April 1991. Down the years this prayer has taken various forms, sometimes daily at St. Anne’s Cathedral. At particular times of crisis, we have organised special days of prayer, with the Cathedral filled for many hours. Since the beginning of 2017, we have had 2 hours of prayer for our land every day in St. George’s Church in High Street, Belfast.
All of this prayer down the years from the people of God has surely borne fruit as evidenced in the relative peace and stability we have enjoyed in recent years.
Brother David Jardine is a Church of Ireland clergyman and also a member of the Society of St. Francis, a religious community in the Anglican Church. After experiencing a significant healing himself through the ministry of Rev. Cecil Kerr, Br. David was led into the healing ministry and after a period of prayer and listening to the Lord, he co-founded Divine Healing Ministries in 1993.
